So by jet boat it is about 75 miles one way from Deshka landing to my property. I seem to recall it took us about 3 hours. We had made an earlier trip to stash gasoline in order to stop and refuel. However our boat had a 350 olds inboard engine that drank gas like water! There are probably places you could refuel now. I see King Point Lodge, McDougall Lodge and Riversong Lodge near where Lake Creek runs into the Skwentna. The new boats are hopefully more fuel efficient as well.
